September is starting out with a real Bang here in Belize. Hurricanes that start out to the east of us generally make a shift north and miss our area completely. That was the case this past week as our guests were pleasantly surprised by warm, sun baked flats teeming with fish.
This week the tides were not favorable, but we still managed to put Mr. Wallace from Telluride into nice pods of Permit and Tarpon. Great casting and spotting made these spooky fish easier to hook. Flats fishing out here is a team effort with angler and guide.
I am sure that friends back in Colorado will be hearing about all of the great stories from this past week. Good job guys! See you in the spring.
