The Guides

At Belize Fly Zone, we take our staff of guides very seriously. After all, without quality, English speaking guides, our clients would not be satisfied with their experience in Belize. Customer satisfaction is our #1 priority at BFZ, so we constantly ask our customers about their experience to ensure that our guides are providing the best service on the island. Our master guide is the legendary Omar Arceo. We are proud to have him on our staff for many reasons. Omar has guided over 12 years on the island as is considered to have more knowledge of the flats than anyone. Prior to professional guiding, Omar was a commercial fisherman in our local offshore waters. Proper training and experience is the only way to be a successful guide, and we have the best of both worlds with Omar. During his time off, he can be spotted fly fishing the waters of Belize and Ambergris Caye.
